Beautiful, Big & Heavy-Good and Bad Jun 27, 2009

Very striking watch. Substantial and eye catching. The crystal is slightly curved causing a magnification effect of the face. Size of watch can make it uncomfortable in hot weather, and the three crowns can sometimes bind against your wrist during normal/active movements. Black PVD coating will also wear off edges of band if used on a desk regularly (it's not some kind of super-hardened material like ceramic, although for the price it should be). It's a very nice watch but NOT worth the full retail price of $1795. If you can find it around 1/2 off I think that's more like what it feels.

I was looking forward to getting this watch for a long time. Unfortunately when I got it, the watch did not look nearly as sharp and impressive in person. I am a big fan of Gucci, but this watch does not look great in person. First off it's not black, it's more of a dark grey. Second the stainless steel is not finished that smoothly. The proportion of the face was a lot bigger than expected. I returned the watch. I am glad that Amazon did make it very easy to return and get a refund for an expensive item like this. I think the Gucci store would have been difficult!

I LOVE this watch! I get complimented all the time. Definitely an eye catcher for those that are looking for something visually striking. I only wear this watch on the weekends because i feel as if it is too flashy to wear to work or at formal events.
It is pretty big, but not too big, a bit heavy as well, BUT all people have different styles and preferences when it comes to jewelry and fashion accessories.
Sometimes when I fold my wrist inwards it tends to unhook the strap causing the straps to come apart (hence the 4 stars).
Otherwise, BEAUTIFUL watch.
p.s.:: the ladies love it...if i could i'd give it 4.5 STARS

Watch looks fantastic on the arm. Not too great for rock climbing, but still looks good even if you scratch the screen. Of course at the end of the day, it just keeps the time.
