45 stars for looks; 2 stars for functionality  Sep 06, 2009 By A. Prasad
Looks:
This watch looks amazing. The tachymeter numbers on the bezel looks intricate, and the dual silver/black combination gives a strong, elegant contrast. There have been many times when people look at the watch on my hand, and ask what brand/watch I'm wearing. (I say "Guess", and they take a guess. LOL)

Functionality:
The watch does lose points for functionality though.

1. Tachymeter: Unlike many watches with chrono, here the chrono second hand is not the big/main second hand. (Many watches with chrono use the big hand as the chrono second hand, and use one of the tiny hands on the face/background as the actual second hand). While this inherently isn't a problem, this makes the tachymeter useless. The tachymeter is on the bezel, and would only be useful if the chorono second hand was the big hand that moved along/pointed to the bezel, since a chronograph is an integral part of making tachymeter measurements.

2. The little face/background dials: I would have been much happier if one of the three face hands had been devoted to showing the date. Instead, two of them are for chrono (second and minute), and the third one (get this) is for showing the hour in 24 hour format (in case you forget how to add 12 at night?)

Overall, get this watch depending on what you're looking for. If you're looking for a good looking elegant watch in the $120 range, get this hands down. If you want date/tachymeter/more complicated stuff, this isn't the watch for you.
Me? I'm very happy with this watch, although I wish it did have a date dial.

5Great all-round watch  Aug 26, 2011 By Adam
I've had this watch now for a little over two years and love it. It's the perfect all round watch. The only thing I wish it had was a date indicator. The watch has held up very well over the last two+ years, just had the battery replaced other than that normal wear and tear I have had no problems. Its my everyday watch which has led to two things over the years. One, as it gets dirty which it will in time the bracelet can begin to look dull, a simple cleaning with a toothbrush, cotton rag, etc will do the trick just fine. Secondly, there will be dings and scracthes that come over time, none of which I have found to be major. I'm not exactly easy on it and it holds up very well, still looks great after over two years, despite some minor scratches. On the plus side, I have had many older gentlemen (I'm in my early 20's) compliment me on it, while wearing their Rolex's, Tag's, etc... I have had a few people mistake it for a Tag. In fact, I went to a department store and looked at a Tag next to it, you really can't tell much difference. That said the craftsmanship and quality of a Tag will obviously be much higher, but in most cases if you are considering a new watch, you're not debating between a $100 Guess and $3,000 Tag Heuer.

Great watch, I'd recommend it to anyone.

5Does it's job with style!  Jan 17, 2010 By Amanda Crawley
My fiance wanted a very nice, every day watch for Christmas and this one caught his eye. It has many features, yet not too complicated. He doesn't really use the tachymeter, but the minute timer and hour timer comes in handy. It is a very nice, sharp looking watch. I don't see why the average person would be disappointed in this! This watch is also waterproof, which is nice in case you get it wet.
