I tried this watch on at a Guess store, loved how it fit, loved how it looks. For the price this is a gorgeous watch, I have no complaints. The time and date are very easy to read. The stop watch functions work well, though I really don't use them, other than playing around with them when I first got it. The leather band is a very rich brown/cordovan. The watch is very comfortable to wear. I have no complaints and would recommend the watch to anyone.

Hello,
I was planning to buy this product for my brother who is in India. My question is whether if this product is the same as it will be if bought from GUESS. Is the color of the leather strap brown or black? The site indictaes black at one place and brown at another place. Does this come with a gift box?

The buying process of this watch through Amazon.com was as expected. easy to place the order, price was about right, and the delivery of the watch by the seller was within the specified time. I have no surprises from the item, since I had already tried it at a local store (but selling at SMRP) NO WAY for this type of watch. Just a warning: This watch is rated as waterproof for 100 meters/330ft resistant; I would be very careful with that statement, since the crown is not a screw-in one as true waterproof watches are, and it is easily pulled out by any little accidental tug.
I should also let future buyers aware that the time setting is not as exact as it should be; the "seconds" needle does not zero in exactly at the set point, it is off by a very tiny fraction, witch would make it to be off by a fraction of a second when setting your minutes time, not biggy here, unless you are a stickler for exactitute. Hour/minute needles are visible in complete darkness. For the chronograph features, unfortunately, I have not comments to make, since I have not try them yet; I bougth the watch for the "looks" only. Movement is japanese, and the leather band is a dark cordovan, in an environment where there is not enought light it could appears to be black. Last but not least, I really looks great!!!
