Not up to RW standard - cheap feel May 20, 2011

I've owned 2 Raymond Weil watches prior to purchasing this one and I loved both of them. This watch is the complete opposite of the first 2 I owned. Everything about this watch looks and feels cheap, especially the band. The one compliment I have is that the blue hands on the white face is a great look.

By Lido The Raymond Weil Tradition Watch offers the flexibility for use in both casual dress or business suit applications. The watch is of a timeless design and is of very high quality and build. The Swiss ETA movement is the finest such Quartz movement available today and the case is equal in quality to most all of the finest Swiss manufacturers. The face of the watch is a perfect size and the Genuine Crocodile Leather Strap is elegant and a keeper. Considering the watch is being sold today at 55% off list price; this represents one of the best values out there. A similiar Baume Mercier or Oris Watch would run about $1,300 to $3,500. The overall look and quality is better than similiar Tissot Classics especially the movement itself. This Raymond Weil has an inspired look of a Patek Phillippe yet retains the elegant casual look of a Baume Mercier Watch. Amazing looks, great value and a great addition to any collection!!!
