Some people may be confused about the hype with a Swatch.. this simple, but practical, lightweight watch is not designed to be a pretty conversation piece, but rather to be a workhorse that is not bulky, nor have the need to be treated delicately. While I visited NYC, I had to drop in to the Swatch store. I am a hairstylist and need to keep up with time constantly to keep on track during the day. I've been through so many watches that claim to be waterproof, water resistant, etc., but I knew if I could get my hands on a Swatch like I had when I was younger, I would be done shopping for watches to use at the shampoo bowl. I got a white one for summer and just purchased a black one for winter.. I could be a commercial for Swatch.. I have had no issues at all.. gets wet day after day and continues to move right along with me. This watch does exactly what it is designed to do.. Thank you Swatch!

I'm very picky about watches, and I love Swatch watches, but this one... the band was hard plastic, and it snapped/broke, not even 6 months into owning it.

It seemed so cheap. The plastic band was stiff and I somehow scratched the face the 2nd day I had it. I've worn my old timex for years and it isn't scratched. Was the face made of plastic too?

I love Swatch watches and have had several. I returned this item because it was too shiny. I didn't expect it to look like patent leather, which it did. If you're looking for a dressy plastic watch, this is for you.
