Great watch, poor watch band Sep 19, 2010

I've had one of these watches for several years. For my running it's been a good watch. The watch has a separate button for start and stop. Many watches today have just one button on the top face of the watch which is a start/split button. I don't want splits; I want a stop then a restart (just like a stop watch), but to do so, one needs to push a button on the side of the watch. During the summer, pressing a button on the side is OK. But, during the winter wearing gloves, it's not easy to find a button on the side. I don't use stop/split button watches.
The watch band on my original watch wore out, so I ordered this as a replacement. (I tried a new watch band first, but it was the wrong band.) This replacement watch, except for the color of the face, is the same watch I've had. But, the watch band is NOT the correct band for this watch.
So, great watch, poor watch band.
